Misadventures of Kerris-Hawkers

My dad came to visit again, this time with his two kids, and together we all went out and had quite the adventure!  They were staying at the Four Seasons, so we met there and took a walk around the Public Garden.

Silly smiles from E

Catching a duckling ride

Riding the mommy duck

Then we headed out for lunch at Fig

"Why can't I have any pizza?"

Silly girlies

Then we decided to go visit the Boston Children's Museum

Playing in the golf ball room

Riding a rooster?

Very serious driver

Come with me!

Then we went back to the hotel for a little bit of rest before heading out to dinner at Nebo

The munchkins

Dog pile on Dad/Grandpa!  Pretty accurate representation of them, actually.

Then we headed out to Nebo

The elderly and the youngin, pooped after a long day!

We got home late, the kids didn't even wake up during the transport between car and bed.

Wide eyed and bushy tailed the next morning

We had a lot of fun!  A and E are begging to have M and S come back, and they keep pretending to call them on their play cellphones, organizing a meetup.  Grandpa, along with his girls continued on their own adventure, driving up to Vermont for my cousin's wedding.  We wish we could go, but I think bringing 3 kids to a wedding is probably the worst wedding present ever, so we decided to stay home.  Hopefully they'll be back soon!

I'll leave you with this:

The most enormous, most expensive, most time consuming gluten free pumpkin roll ever to be created.  Made by me just for my dad, because he's awesome and nobody makes him gluten free pumpkin rolls, and quite frankly, nobody should have to survive autumn in New England without a pumpkin roll in their belly.
