The next day, yesterday, was the Primary Program. It's like a big recital for all the kids ages 3-11, where they sing songs they've learned, recite scriptures and basically show us what they learned all year. It was jam packed with people's families and friends! Only my sister showed up, which is surprising because she doesn't like church, but I was grateful that at least one person in my family came to support the kids. They were so excited and practiced very hard! They did really, really well. They both knew their lines, and sang most of the songs without being too distracted by their friends (which really is a feat for a 4 and 5 year old!) I'm so impressed that they weren't nervous at all. Every time I have to get up there in front of everyone, I freeze. My kids are so awesome! L kept trying to run up there too, and when we caught him he'd scream. Between that and me with my horrible never ending cough of death, I think we won the award for "most disruptive family at church", lol. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of the kids before the program, but they looked very cute and handsome. You'll just have to trust me!
